So! Today Rosie and Sophie enjoyed a nice picnic out in the sun. Let's take a look!
"Muffins, raisins, cookies..." Rosie muttered to herself as she dropped food into a basket.
"Hey, Rosie! Ready for our picnic?" Sophie asked eagerly.
Rosie turned around to face Sophie. "Yep, I'm just packing up a couple more snacks," she answered.
*18 minutes later*
"This looks like a good spot to set up the blanket," Rosie remarked.
They opened up the picnic basket to discover all the wonderful goodies that Rosie had packed.
Muffins!
Raisins!
And best of all....CHEEZ ITZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Ahh!!" screamed Sophie. "It's a giant monster!!!!!!!"
"Relax," said Rosie soothingly. "It's just a little monster."
Soon, they all had their food.
"Hey, Rosie?" asked Sophie. "Why did you pack a bell pepper?"
"Oh!" exclaimed Rosie. "I thought it was an apple."
"Sandwiches!" yelled Sophie. "I love sandwiches. But why did you only pack one?"
"We didn't have enough bread. Now stop asking questions and eat!"
"Yummy..."
"Make sure you eat some fruit, Sophie," Rosie said.
"Okeeee dokieeee, artichokeeee!!!!" squealed Sophie, stuffing a strawberry in her mouth.
"YAY!!!!!!!!!! COOKIESEZZZ!!!"
"Nom nom nom..."
"Hee hee!" giggled Rosie. "There's a butterfly on my nose!"
"Yay for rock candy!"
"I guess it's time to pack it up," Rosie sighed. Sophie nodded.
They folded up the blanket and closed the basket.
"That was fun," Rosie said, gazing off into the distance.
"Yeah," agreed Sophie. "We should do this sometime soon again."
