The French Bakery-plus a photostory

Hello!
So...yes. I didn't post for a week. I am so sorry about that!! But I have not abandoned my blog and my awesome readers! I have been working on this post for about 4 days. So I hope you enjoy!

I made a French bakery for my dolls!!!! It looks nothing like Grace Thomas's, but it was inspired by her's, and it is NOT 500 dollars!!!
Okay! Here is a tour of the bakery.

Here is an overview.

This is the owner. Her name is Ella.

I put a couple treats on the treat stand, too. (Sorry this picture is so blurry! Ella fell over, and I didn't realize it until after I took the picture, and then I forgot to take another one.)

The counter is a lemonade stand my mum and I made for my dolls a few months ago.

Here is the sign. The bakery is called Le Bakery.

Now for my favorite part, the table area!

The table is just a box. It is perfect for this project, because it says France on it, and it has Eiffel Towers on it. I'm pretty sure I got it from Ross.

The napkins are actually old napkins my great-great grandma made. I just folded them up, and then put a white Rainbow Loom band in the middle.

This is the centerpiece. The little lace thing is from the thrift store. I got a pack of about ten of them for ten cents! The menu is cut out from black card stock and then I wrote on it with white crayon. (Note: If you are going to make this, then you might want to use white colored pencil instead.)
The flowers are made out of tissue paper. (Comment down below if you want to see how to make them!) I then wrapped them in a white Rainbow Loom band and then put then in a doll size vase from a Play Dough set.

The plates are from my old tea set, and yes, they are chipped.

I made the stools out of a box, a small pillow, and a big rubber band. You can find the tutorial here.

That's all for the tour! Now onto the photostory!

It was a temperate afternoon. Molly was off working at her new job, Gracie was taking a nap, and Rosie was watching Sophie and Sadie. At the moment, Rosie was lying down on the bean bag in the living room. Sophie and Sadie galloped over to her to ask her a question.
"Rosie, may we please go outside?" they chorused.
Rosie stretched and yawned. "I guess. But don't be gone to long. Lunch will be ready soon."

"We don't need lunch," the naughty little girls snickered as they ran out of the door and outside.

Soon, they came to a clothing store.
"I heard that you need to wear fancy clothes to the bakery," Sadie said. "This place sure looks fancy."

Sophie nodded in agreement. "Yeah," she said, pointing to the sign of the store. "Look at this fancy writing!"

All of a sudden, they heard a voice. They quickly turned around. Phew. It wasn't Molly, Rosie, or even Gracie. It was the lady who owned the store.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"No, um, we're good, thanks," Sophie said quietly, turning a tiny bit pink.

"Okay," the lady said, walking away.

After the lady left, Sadie spotted something out of the corner of her eye. She turned around and gasped. "Ooh!! Sophie! I need this ADORABLE outfit!!!!!!"

"That's not what we're here for," Sophie said impatiently. "We need to get to the bakery before it closes! So let's get a move on and get some fancy clothes!!"

"Alright, alright," grumbled Sadie, rummaging through the clothes.

"Oh, look! This dress is perfect!!" she cried, facing Sophie. What they didn't know is that is was actually a long tank top...

"Yay! That will look great on you," exclaimed Sophie.

After she had found some shoes, she said, "I'll be right back. I'm gonna go get changed." And with that, she ran off to get dressed.

"I better find some clothes too," Sophie said to herself. She looked through the clothes until she found the perfect dress. "Aha!"

"I'm back!" Sadie shouted when she was done changing. "How do I look?"

Her hair was tied up in a high, messy bun...

She was wearing the long tank top she thought was a dress...

And, she had some fluffy boots on her feet.

 "Fabulous, darling," giggled Sophie.

She bent over and picked up her bag that held her clothes.

"What are you gonna wear?" asked Sadie.

"It's gonna be a surprise!" called Sophie as she hurried off to the changing room.

A few minutes later, she was back. "So...what do you think?" Sophie asked.

Her dress, was...well, an Elsa dress.

"I love your dress! But what shoes are you wearing?" Sadie inquired.

Sophie pulled up her skirt just enough so that Sadie could see the pink sneakers she had on.

Sadie threw her hands up in the air. "Yay! Let's go to the new bakery now!!"

They left the store, leaving their clothes in a pile on the floor.

As they ran down the road, Sadie asked, "Where is Molly, anyway?"
"I don't know. She got a job, but I'm not sure where." answered Sophie.

Finally, they spotted a sign that read, Le Bakery. They ran inside and to the counter. The lady there asked, "Would you like a table?"
"Yes, please," Sadie said shyly.

"You can take that table over there," the lady said, cocking her head toward a table. "Your waitress will be here soon. By the way, my name is Ella."

"Thanks!" Sophie and Sadie said as they rushed to sit down at their table.

A few minutes later, their waitress came. "Bonjour! Welcome t-"
"SOPHIE!! SADIE!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!?!? I THOUGHT ROSIE TOLD YOU TO STAY HOME!!!!"

"Oh, no, um...she said we could come here," lied Sadie.

"Miss McIntire, please...this is a quiet bakery," called Ella.

"Sorry," grumbled Molly. She took a deep breath, then started over.
"Bonjour! Welcome to Le Bakery! Can I take your order?"

"I'll have some Peep Peep fours, please," Sophie said, not knowing that it was pronounced "Petit Fours."

"And I'll take some Mac and Roons, please." Sadie also was not the best at grammar. (macaroons)

"Alright, coming right up!" Molly said. She was a little annoyed at her sisters at not knowing how to pronounce French things. But she knew what they meant.

She walked away to get their food.

Ten minutes later, she was back with a silver platter. She set it down on the table.
"Ooh!" cried Sadie and Sophie.

Sadie lifted the lid from the tray...

"These Mac and Roons and Peep Peep Fours look soo good!!" Sophie said breathlessly.
Molly, rolling her eyes, walked away. "Enjoy!" she called.

They each got two "Peep Peep Fours" and one "Mac and Roon."

When they were done eating, they left. "Goodbye! Thank you!" they shouted.

Molly smiled. "Bye! Your welcome!"

As Sophie and Sadie walked home, they realized how much trouble they would be in once they got home.

Luckily, when they arrived, Rosie was sleeping on the bean bag in the living room. So they were safe. At least for now. They silently ran to the kitchen.

But about ten minutes later, Rosie woke up. Her cell phone rang, and she rushed to answer it. It was Molly. The two S's tried to listen in on her conversation, but it was hard because they were in different rooms. They heard her say, "Uh huh" a few times and other times, she gasped. "No! They didn't!" she exclaimed, shocked.
When Rosie hung up, she yelled, "SOPHIE!!! SADIE!!! MOLLY JUST CALLED. YOU'RE IN BIG TROUBLE!!!!!!!!"

Back at the bakery, Ella said, "Miss McIntire, there is a bit of cleaning up to do over at that table."
"Okay," Molly replied, walking over to the table to clean it up. But then....

"WHAT?!?!?" Molly shrieked when she saw the mess. She groaned loudly.

It was going to take a long time to clean this up.
