Okay! Onto this post!
Today I am going to show you how to make some St. Patrick's day crafts!
I know this is kind of late, but better late then never, right? :)
You will need:
A green pom pom
A doll size cup
Green or gold ribbon
Fabric
Felt (you don't need it cut out in the shape of a Christmas tree ;) )
Take your green pom pom...
...and stuff it in your doll size cup. This will make a doll size plant to put on the table. Sorry I don't have a picture of that; it got lost somehow! Or I just forgot to take one....
You can also just use a plant you already have on hand. Mine came with the Our Generation kitchen.
Now, cut a rectangle of green fabric.
Cut out some clovers from your felt.
Glue the clovers and some ribbons onto your rectangle of fabric. Now you've made a table cloth!
Place your table cloth on your table and add the plant.
I added some St. Patrick's day food, like mashed potatoes...
...and salad.
Okay! Thanks for rea-
Wait!! Don't leave yet! I've got another craft!
This one is for dolls like, naming no names, (Molly) who are picky eaters and do not like vegetables.
Molly: "Hey! I'm not picky!"
Me: "Um, yeah you are. Now let's just get on with the craft!"
For this craft, you will need:
Green craft foam or paper
A glue stick (if you are using paper)
Scissors
Beads (optional)
Glitter glue
We are going to be making cookies, so you can click here to find a cookie tutorial. But if you don't have craft foam (like me) then I will show you my own version.
Fold your paper into thirds and apply glue.
Fold it closed, creating very thick paper.
Draw some clovers onto your paper. They don't have to be perfect.
And while drawing these, be sure to not use too sharp of a pencil, because it will tear the paper like this.
Cut them out.
I made 9 of them. (oh boy, this sure is going to be fun when the dolls try to divide them! NOT :) )
Apply glitter glue for frosting.
It's kind of hard to see them, but I added beads for sprinkles. This is totally optional.
I apologize for the blurry picture, but here is some cookies! (bad grammar)
Yay! You're all done!
Thanks for reading!
