How to make doll drums!

Heyo! On my last post, one of my best friends, Cadence, commented that I should make a whole doll band, with a clarinet, flute, and drums! I was instantly inspired, so today I'll show you how to make doll drums!

You will need:
*scissors
*a pencil
*a empty toilet paper roll
*duct tape
*fabric

First, stab a small hole in your toilet roll. Please be careful when you do this! I don't want anyone to stab their finger! I have little kid scissors because I have small hands, so the ends of my scissors are rounded and not sharp. Okay, next, stick your scissors in that hole and cut it in half.

I trimmed the two halves to be even because I wanted to make bongo drums.

Trace two circles on the fabric with the pencil and then cut them out.

Place the circle of fabric on top of one of the rolls.

This is the tricky bit. Place a piece of duct tape on the roll, being sure to tape down the fabric. Smooth the tape. Tuck down the fabric, place the tape of over it, smooth the tape. Repeat until the all of the fabric is taped down.

Here is the first one done! Now just do the same thing for the other drum.

I like to put the middle piece of tape down first so that the tape goes on evener (is that a word? It doesn't have a red squiggly line under it...:)   )

Now glue your drums together. I put a hair clip in to hold them in place while they dried.

And...done! What do you think? I know my dolls love them!

Thanks for reading!
